Infor is a global enterprise software company delivering software for specific industries in the cloud. The website receives millions of unique visits a year, yet Infor's blogs were not building substantial followings or bringing positive a impact to the business.
We needed to revolutionize the entire blog experience and create a platform that brings value.
We were tasked to increase exposure and brand awareness while enhancing the design and functionality, so that the experience across all blogs are consistent and modern. And also increase traffic, engagement, time on site, subscription and traffic passed to Infor.com.
We worked with analytics to pull data from a 6 month time period to summarize the traffic across all blog properties. This report showed us what was getting engagement and where we needed to improve.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders, analytics, IA, and project management we defined our strategy and success metrics. After direct and indirect research and crafting the user stories, my team and I utilized an object-oriented UX approach to map the new blog structure.
From there, I created low fidelity wireframes which were then tested to ensure the readers had the best user experience possible. Insights were extracted from the users' feedback, and the wireframes were updated to improve the experience.
Once it was determined the wireframes had the optimal user experience, they were brought to full design at 4 breakpoints.
The redesign features a clean layout that facilitates easy scanning and reading of the content, highly prominent subscription model, and login functionality.
